Review by Seafarer for Anchors Fish & Chips

When I really, REALLY, need a Fish & Chips "fix", I always go to the "Anchor" F & C in Roseville. Its conveniently located right off I-80 at the West Douglas Blvd. exit. Generally I order the 2 pieces of fish with chips - sometimes with a coleslaw side. I've NEVER been disappointed. The fish is always fresh and flaky with a crispy light breading. Beer and soft drinks are available. They have quite generous servings and reasonable prices. For a F & C place the decor is much better than one might expect. [They have maps of major cities of the world laminated to all the table tops; so you can wend your way through the streets of Paris or Rome while you wait for your order. You won't EVER have to wait for long!] Enjoy Anchor F & C!
